Visiting Athelhampton

We welcome visitors to Athelhampton from March to the end of October and provide a fabulous day out.

With a large car park and free parking, the Coach House is easily accessible for all. Within the Coach House you will find our visitor reception and gift shop as well as the Topiary Restaurant.  The whole building is on the one level and provides easy access and disabled facilities.

Entry to the house, is made through the visitor reception which sells full day tickets or afternoon tickets as well as guide books and gifts. Members of the Historic Houses Association and our own Season Ticket holders have complimentary access.

Athelhampton provides a wealth of History, with stunning interiors, antique furnishings, paintings and porcelain. The extensive gardens, with their ham stone courts, water features and creative planting are delightful throughout the seasons. The River Walk takes you through a natural habitat along the banks of the River Piddle and the historic dovecote with its white doves occupies the side lawn.
