A romantic Gypsy caravan ‘Hope’ is an original 1927 bow top wagon who once upon a time was used by families to travel the countryside. Hope is situated in a small meadow at a Retreat Centre. A lot of love and attention has gone into restoring and refurbishing this classic wagon by local artists. You’ll find hand printed fabric and artwork. Romantically lit by candle light and the use of a wind-up grammerphone will provide the soundtrack to a relaxing getaway.
There is a double bed that comfortably sleeps two adults and pull out bed that will accommodate a child. Prepare your meals outside on the campfire, there’s use of a storm kettle to rustle up a brew, to be enjoyed outside in the comfort of an armchair in the middle of a field!
The land and fields are part of a private retreat site.

The site is a pick your own fruit farm. Where you can also buy organic eggs lots of fresh seasonal produce such as strawberries, raspberries, beans, squash, potatoes and pumpkins. The cabin is located at the edge of the woodlands which surround Sopley Lake.
There is also a glorious wild flower meadow which attracts butterflies, other woodland residents are Fallow deer and Barn Owls. It’s a true escape back to nature.
