Bank Holiday Monday saw a very chocolatey make over for the village of Puddletown, with the arrival of lots of purple and lots of Chocolate! Including this amazing solid chocolate Sign!
Residents of Puddletown were invited to a street party on the Backwater hosted by Cadbury, with a duck race finale! Face painters created fantastic duck themed make overs! Purple goody bags filled with the delicious new chocolate bar which features a gooey puddle centre were handed out. Balloon artists created fancy duck crowns and a purple specticale in record time that delighted 100’s of the local children who queued up patiently. The air was filled the jovial sounds of Bournemouth Concert Brass Orchestra. Delicous treats were being served including afternoon tea and ice cream!
The finale of the event saw over a 1000 numbered purple ducks released into the River Piddle with number 35 crossing the finish line first! The lucky winner will receive a life times supply of Cadbury Puddles chocolate, we’re not jealous at all 😉
Thank You Cadburys for visiting our lovely little village in Dorset!
